immune - Cell phone based information management system

38 million children around the world do not have proper vaccinations. The two main reasons for this situation are overwhelming paperwork associated with record keeping and a lack of education about the benefits of immunization. IMMUNE uses a smartphone to empower a community health care worker to create, access and update the immunization records of any person enrolled in the program. It is targeted at improving immunization for people living below the poverty line. It provides a user friendly, efficient and scale-able method of managing vaccination records by the community health care worker while the parents of the child are required to safe keep only a pendent/bracelet/toy/sticker or a card with a unique QR code, which can be easily replaced.
